WE RISE AS ONE! is a one-day, three-part global
healing event designed to mend the fractures of our collective psyche through music, universal wisdom, ritual, and the unity we can celebrate in the context of community.
Held in the sacred heart of San Francisco’s iconic Grace Cathedral, this transformational, musically-infused experience is not just an event—it is a catalytic moment to reclaim our shared humanity through awe, reverence and remembrance.
Music, healing, connection, and presence are not detours from our busy lives.
They’re portals to becoming fully human.

A soul-nourishing grief literacy and resilience immersion guided by spiritual guide and
author, Hope Fitzgerald, and the co-creator of the globally acclaimed “Graceful
Passages” listening resource, Emmy-winning composer, Gary Malkin. This intimate, transformative workshop uses guided meditations, intimate dyads, shared stories, sacred ceremony, and inspiring music to transmute unspoken sorrow into gratitude, compassion, and personal power.

A Musical Gathering to Unite, Heal and Inspire
Hosted and Musically Directed by Gary Malkin
A celebratory, uplifting, and multi–cultural concert held in the Grace Cathedral sanctuary
and broadcast globally via Hubcast Media. This celebration is a global call for peace
featuring visionary artists, indigenous elders, youth voices, interfaith blessings, and inspiring
musical performances—all coming together to ignite a new wave of embodied unity and
shared purpose.

• Inspire heart–centered unity
• Transmute personal and collective grief into gratitude and grace
• Celebrate multi–generational, multi–cultural, and multi–spiritual belonging
• Create exciting ways in which music, wisdom, and the performing arts can unite us
• Seed a scalable model of healing gatherings in cities around the world

Co–produced by Pathways To Peace, the founders of the United Nations’ International
Day of Peace (1984) in partnership with the Global Wisdom Foundation. This partnership
bridges a legacy of peacebuilding with an envisioned future of unifying community
gatherings across all differences. We are proud to partner with Grace Cathedral, who
sponsored a peace vigil in 1984, on the first day the Int’l Day of Peace was launched.
